Wiese Produce began as a small business in 1978. Joe and Frieda Wiese harvested and sold vegetables out of their garage in Cottleville. As they aquired a large number of regular customers, Wiese produce became a local staple. Over the years Joe and Frieda passed their knowledge onto their son and his family. When Joe passed away in 2008, the family decided to continue his tradition. The tremendous response of Joe's long time customers along with a large number of new ones prompted a much larger venture. Along with selling at the nursery, we also provide fresh produce to a local Cottleville restaurant, Stone Soup Cottage.
